Venture 370 Sea Ray wins an Innovation Award in Miami 15.2. 2013 |
|

| Miami, February 14th: the new Venture 370 Sea Ray won the prestigious prize in the Powerboat category.
The boat incorporates patent-pending outboard engine technology in a fiberglass express cruiser powered by fully-concealed outboard engines. “Finally, we have another option when it comes to powering a mid-sized cruiser: a pair of hidden four-stroke outboards that increases interior volume and creates a luxurious master cabin,” said a judge.
Venture 370 Sea Ray was designed and engineered in a common effort between Seaway/J&J Design and Sea Ray PD&E development team.
The boat is creating a tremendous interest for the boating public at the Miami boat show.

Sea Ray Venture 370 launched 15.1. 2013 |
|

| Sea Ray Venture 370 – Boat of the Year 2012 in the USA; after being enthusiastically received by the Sea Ray dealers and first clients in the Autumn the innovative Venture 370 was awarded the acclaimed Boat of the Year 2012 title by Boating magazine in the USA. Sea Ray Venture 370 has gone into production at Sea Ray Palm Coast Florida.
Innovative, unique architecture: the application and integration of hidden Mercury Verado 300 HP outboards made a lot of new things possible, for example a huge cockpit and a lot more internal cabin space.
The volume now used for accommodation is comparable to at least 2’ larger vessels. Performance on the water means a very quiet and smooth ride. Above all, the outboards can be lifted/tilted out of water to stay clean and allow easy access for maintenance. Seaway Design was responsible for concept definition, naval architecture, design of exterior and interior, complete engineering, prototyping and testing.
The application of resin infusion technology at Sea Ray’s facility with the Brunswick PD&E team for this model is another important experience for Seaway Design.
